Kundilini yoga is is a blend of Bhakti Yoga (the yogic practice of devotion and chanting), Raja Yoga (the practice of mediation/mental and physical control) and Shakti Yoga, (for the expression of power and energy)The purpose of Kundalini Yoga is to provide a modality by which people can achieve their maximum creative potential, free themselves from Karma (the lasting effects of past actions) and realize their potential to create a fulfilling life . An awakening is like being given the secret code to life, and always winning at it . A joy and Strength that inhabits the mind and body.,Expressing of the soul comes out to enlighten, and brighten your world.
These days Kundalini yoga is a synthesis of many traditions, and the kriyas and meditations in Kundalini Yoga are designed to raise complete body awareness to prepare the body, nervous system, and mind to handle the energy of Kundalini Rising Many of the physical postures are designed to activate the navel, spine, and focal points of pressurization on meridians (energy points). Through breath work (pranayama) and the application of yogic locks of energy (bandhas), the release, direction, and control of the flow of Kundalini energy is achieved.
I found myself loving Kundalini yoga, it is such a power house of moving into ones soul and cultivating strength .When my body is filled with prana my world changes, in a ways that can be very unexpected in a really good ways. I could really feel this energy that was stored every where in my body. My old triggers faded way, they just where no longer there, my reaction to life is more care free, I feel stronger inside myself, I found LOVE, and want more, more of that love that is waiting to be drank in. That energy some call Great Spirit, God, universe, Prana. I can feel it when I am filled with Prana, it makes me happy , it fills me with such joy, a presence within me that guides me, that turns me inwards to work on me and my journey, not caring what others are doing,or even if they like what I do. What matters is that I DO. I love that
