I want to share with you why it is important to meditate ,and day dream each day .
Health Effects of Stress?
The effects of stress in people are seen
physically, mentally and emotionally. According to the American Institute of
Stress, up to 90% of all health problems are related to stress. Too much stress
can contribute to and agitate many health problems including heart disease, high
blood pressure, stroke, depression and sleep disorders. Additional studies confirm the debilitating effects of stress on our health:

Stress comes in so many form we need to take time each week to stop and
Day dream . If we think for meditation as day dreaming , how many of you day dream?
How often do you take a mental break and just day dream.
Turning inward and finding our own personal truths from our own spirit.
Not looking to the media on how to live your life . Turning inward and
Meditating ,finding that sweet place that resides within your heart.
Meditating will reduces Your Stress.
Did you know that the energy from your heart is felt by others, the
heart has its own vibration and frequency just as the brain dose. The vibration
of the heart surround the physical body and expands out 10 feet around each
person. The scientific study is called heart math .
The core of the HeartMath philosophy is that the heart, physically and metaphorically, is the key to tapping into an intelligence that can provide us with fulfillment. Science has
shown that the heart communicates with the body and brain on various different
levels.
The heart communicates electromagnetically. An EKG measured in the doctor's office is actually an electrical signal produced by the heart. This signal can be picked up anywhere on the body, and permeates the space around us.
Its so important that you take care of you! No one else can care for you in this way ,and medication is a band aid to what is going on within your mind and body . It slow the symptoms with out curing the cause.
I want to share with you some information about how our minds work and
different levels of activity .
Beta
Brain waves ~
From normal thought to panic ~ or over excitement Thought after thought, keep colliding in your brain. You cant stop them, you cant seem to slow them down Long enough to focus on just one of them. Your heart is racing,temples are pounding, your breathing is Rapid and you cant think straight,your mind seems out of control. The brain usually produces beta brainwaves in its normal waking states,. When functioning at its best Beta waves are associated with logical thinking, concrete problem solving, and active external attention. Increased blood flow and increased metabolism, and is an active state with higher levels of cognitive Processing, complex thinking, and decision making. Beta waves help us to consciously function in the world, but we also need to know how to master them so that we can use them effectivel and not be at their mercy.
Alpha Brainwaves~ I get lost in day dreams.
Your eyes are probably closed. Uninvited flashes of imagery vividly dance across the
visual screen of your Mind, as real as if you where actually there. Your
attention may jump form scenario to scenario. Settling To follow one path in
detail and then shifting, seemingly without warning or reason to another. The
array of images and other sensory input doesn’t have to make since. The out
side world seems to fall away and You are absorbed in reverie with your alpha
brain waves.
Alpha brain waves are present during daydreaming, fantasying ,and visualization. They
are also associated with relaxed, detached awareness and with receptive mind.
Alpha provides the bridge between the conscious and the subconscious mind. Alpha
was the first brainwave that people were able to learn to identify and
control.
Theta
Brain waves ~ It came to me out of the blue You feel a kind of Niggling in the back of your mind , a persistent but Indefinable nagging that tells you that there is some thing wrong but will go No further in defining what it is. You may experience This sensation as Something pushing at
you from within, some kind of knowledge that wants to get out but is locked away
Deep within the recesses of your physic. Some times you may even get close
enough to it to feel an Over whelming sense of spiritual awakening, an inexplicable burst of creative insight, a cavernous sense Of pain, or a dawning awareness of possibilities of what might be hidden within your mind. When you experience these sensations your theta brain waves are trying to tell you something. Theta brainwaves can be thought of as the subconscious, that part of our minds that form layers between the Subconscious, that part of our mind that
form a layer between the conscious and the unconscious. Theta holds a profusion
of memories, sensations, and emotions. Though theses experiences may be inaccessible to the conscious mind, they can nevertheless affect and even govern you attitudes,expectations,beliefs, And behaviors. The adult who cannot remember childhood abuse continues to seek out abusive people because the part of their mind that produces theta waves is driven to release that deeply held secret. Theta is active during dreaming sleep and deep meditation, they are particularly strong during so called Peak experiences, spiritual insight, and
high functioning brain states.
Delta
Brainwaves ~
I feel as if I read peoples minds. I know what they are going to say before they say it. You know the phone is going to ring before it rings. You know what your friends ,spouses, children are Feeling because you are feeling it too. Some times you are even confused about weather the feeling you Are experiencing belongs to you or someone else. You desperately want to reach out to someone ~ to contact him or her ~ but you are afraid. Somehow you reach out with your
mind and before you Know it , the person contacts you. Your Delta Brainwaves have become your own personal radar, sending and Receiving messages on an unconscious level. Delta Brainwaves make up the unconscious mind. Present during deep sleep, they are what is still turned On when when the rest of your brainwaves turn off. Delta provides the restorative stage of sleep. Delta may also be present in a waking state in combination with other waves. I like to
think of delta as kind of radar that seeks out and receives information on a instinctive level. People with high amplitude delta waves are often intuitive , and through trial and error have learned to trust there sixth sense, simply because it is so often correct. High amplitude delta creates strong empathy. It is often present in large quantities in psychotherapists, healers, counselors, and other in the helping Professions.
