Restorative yoga teaches the mind to identify patterns of holding stress within your body, and opens the body into full rest, letting go of muscle holding . After a one hour session of Restorative yoga ,your body will feel more open, the long held patterns of muscle holding due to stress and tension are gone. The benefits of Restorative yoga is, you will notice your patterns once you are out in your daily routines ,your mind will remind your body to let go of the old pattern and help you to stay with the new relaxed way of keeping your muscles open and relaxed. Working deeply within the body. Gentle,relaxing ,and nourishing, Yin yoga is amazing for opening up your heart, calming your nervous system, and providing a space for your body to deeply relax. It also allows you to recover from trauma, and stiffness, washing away your fears, and cultivate compassion and Authentic love for yourself. This practice is a beautiful way to reconnect to your body in a gentle, compassionate way. Yin is soft and slow, it soothe both mind and body, a meditative style of yoga that targets the deep connective tissues, bones, joints, fascia, and ligaments in the body, stretching and stimulating different acupressure points. In Yin Yoga, you hold mostly passive poses for about two to five minutes to work into your connective tissues. The more you work your fascia system and deep tissues, the less dense and tight your bodies become as you age. When you move and stretch, it hydrates the deep fascia tissues. A positive by product is ,we stay younger longer, it rejuvenates the body and clams the mind. After you have enjoyed your yin yoga ,you rest on your padded mat and snuggle in a cozy soft cloud like blanket while you let the sound of the 7 crystal singing bowls wash over you, deepening your relaxation response ,as you drift off into a light sleep.
