Simple yin yoga
You want to try yoga but are a bit nervous that you can't keep up or can't do the posture? Exploring a new path to a peaceful heart is fun and exciting . As you stretch your body it begins to let go of the you that came here today, alleviating stiffness, aches,and pains, through simple and EASY MAT WORK. Designed to activate and penetrate your sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system, which brings your mind into peacefulness,and relaxes your whole body. A happy stronger you emerges, and is felt with the heart of everyone around you. You are encompassed in a warm inviting space for two, and a teacher that is there to help you do your best work, You are provided with luscious thick mats a soft cozy blanket to snuggle up in during shavasana, while I play my crystal singing bowls . Do you feel like your body is in knots due to holding your tension . Do you hold your shoulders up ,clench your jaw, or hold your brows in a frowning way ? Restorative yoga teaches the mind to identify patterns of holding stress within your body, and opens the body into full rest, letting go of muscle holding . After a one hour session of Restorative yoga ,your body will feel more open, the long held patterns of muscle holding due to stress and tension are gone. The benefits of Restorative yoga is, you will notice your patterns once you are out in your daily routines ,your mind will remind your body to let go of the old pattern and help you to stay with the new relaxed way of keeping your muscles open and relaxed. To add to this yumminess of being open and relaxed, I Will play my 7 crystal singing after your one hour of Restorative yoga, it will deepen your experience and move your mind into Alpha brain waves state. Alpha is 'the power of now', being here, in the present. Alpha is the resting state for the mind. Alpha waves aid overall mental coordination, calmness, alertness, mind/body integration and learning, along with a senses of imagination, creativity, and intuition. This practice is a beautiful way to reconnect to your body in a gentle, compassionate way. Yin is soft and slow, it soothe both mind and body, a meditative style of yoga that targets the deep connective tissues, bones, joints, fascia, and ligaments in the body, stretching and stimulating different acupressure points. In Yin Yoga, you hold mostly passive poses to work into your connective tissues. The more you work your fascia system and deep tissues, the less dense and tight your bodies become as you age. When you move and stretch, it hydrates the deep fascia tissues. A positive by product is ,we stay younger longer, it rejuvenates the body and clams the mind.
